My name is Nathan West and together with my wife Sarah, we run both this and opportunitymom.com websites.
As you can already guess, I will be sharing more from the dad side of things and Sarah will be working her magic while sharing her views, ideas and experiences from the mom point of view.
18 years ago, when we first met, we were both starting in the digital world and while I was mainly focusing on the tech side of things, Sarah was the creative and visionary force behind it all. We were the perfect match! And I mean that in so many levels.
Like every other startup, we worked our butts off and slowly established a number of successful ventures. At the same time, we also embraced the “digital nomad” style and were traveling all over the world. Experiencing other cultures and meeting new people across different continents and countries was an invaluable for our success. We would typically spend 2-3 months at any given location, sometimes a bit more if we really liked it, and then move on to the next place. The relationships, friendships and experiences are something we hold very dear and cherish each and every day. Most importantly, while embracing this lifestyle, we took every opportunity to discover, learn and improve not only our work but our everyday lives and wellbeing too.
The results were amazing. We were working with some incredible individuals and business across the globe and our client base kept increasing almost weekly. We were the “behind the scenes” team, working our magic to help improve our clients businesses and personal lives trough our own knowledge and expertise. Now that I think about it, we have probably worked with someone in almost every niche imaginable. And with every new client we helped, we also continued to learn and constantly improve. From doctors, dentists, personal coaches, lifestyle coaches, digital marketers, fashion designers, money managers, bankers, accountants, personal trainers, construction companies, realtors, car dealers to all sorts of gurus in between. We have experienced it all.
A few years ago, is when our first daughter was born and we were also introduced to the world of parenting. That wasn’t easy and some things we had to learn on the go. We abandoned the traveling and finally settled down. Then came our second child and for that we like to think that we were fully prepared…..not really. Today, we scaled down on our work and are mainly focusing on our lives and children. Don’t get me wrong, our life is not always rainbows and unicorns but we like to believe that we have done well for ourselves and are raising our children to be their best at everything they want to accomplish.
With the newly found time and financial freedom, we have decided to share our experiences with the rest of the world and hopefully help other people like you discover, learn and prosper. Our mission is to change million lives, by sharing our knowledge and experiences so that you can unlock the right opportunity for yourself.
